Age Requirements
For Preschool (PreK 3 & PreK 4)
Children must be 3 or 4 years old on or before October 1 of the current school year.
Children are not required to be toilet trained for enrollment.
Kindergarten
Students must be 5 years old on or before October 1 of the current school year.
Registration Checklist
All Asbury Park residents interested in beginning the online registration process, please have the following documents available for upload.
Proof of Residency
Some suggested items are listed below. All approved forms of residency documentation can be found by reviewing N.J.A.C. 6A:22-3.4.
☐ Current Utility Bill
☐ Certificate of Occupancy from the City of Asbury Park
☐ Current Lease Agreement or Rent Receipt
☐ Mortgage Statement, Sewer Bill, or Property Tax Bill
Required Documents
☐ Child's Birth Certificate
☐ Updated Immunization Record
☐ Physical Examination completed within the past 12 months
☐ Health Insurance Card
☐ Withdrawal Form, Transfer Card, and/or Transcripts from Previous School (if applicable)
☐ Individualized Education Program (IEP) (if applicable)
☐ Letter of Guardianship (if child is not living with a parent/legal guardian)
☐ Letter of Temporary Residence (if applicable)
Registration Process
☐ Gather all required documentation.
☐ Complete the online registration application.
☐ Upload all required documents in their entirety.
☐ Review all information for accuracy prior to submission.
☐ Submit the completed registration packet.
☒ Registration is considered complete only after all required documents have been submitted and verified.
Important: All registration documentation must be uploaded in its entirety for the registration process to be considered complete. Incomplete applications or missing documentation may delay enrollment.

3. Gather all required documents for uploading.
4. Log in to the online registration portal and complete the application.
5. Upload all required documents and submit your application for review.
