ANNUAL AHERA NOTIFICATION
In accordance with the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA), parents and guardians, teachers, children and employees of the Asbury Park School District must be
notified annually of the district’s activities regarding asbestos found in schools. The
Asbury Park School District conducted the six-month surveillance in accordance with the regulation for the school year. The Asbestos Management Plan for any Board of Education Facility may be viewed by contacting the AHERA Designated Compliance Officer at 732-776-2663 during normal school hours.
Please be advised that our district is undergoig extensive facility improvements and are in transition between facilities use software providers. Therefore, at this time, no link is available to external parties to request use of our facilities. Additionally, all prior requests to use our facilities for August 2023 have been canceled due to the ongoing repairs. Once repairs are completed and the software system is transitioned, both of which we hope to be completed by Sept. 1, a link will be shared here. Thank you for your understanding at this time of transition.
